The following groups provide help for homeless and at-risk youth in the Detroit Metropolitan Area:
- Common Ground provides a lifeline for individuals and families in crisis, victims of crime, persons with mental illness, people trying to cope with critical situations and runaway and homeless youths.
- Alternative for Girls helps homeless and high-risk girls and young women to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives.
- The Triangle Foundation provides help to hate crime victims
- The Michigan ACLU’s LGBT project is a resource for fighting discrimination
- For Families of LGBTQ youth, Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a great resource.
